Sun Yat-sen is sometimes compared to the great Confucius and Mencius. They believed that their mission — to save China from disunity. But neither Confucius nor Mencius could not carry out his ideas into practice. Sun Yat-sen is called the "Confucius in politicsĀ».

Sun Yat-sen in history is known as a great practitioner and founder of the Kuomintang. He was born November 12 in 1866 near Canton, in the village of Tsuyhen. In 1884, Sun Yat-sen moved to Hong Kong, where he studied at the Central State School, and after graduating in 1886 with his older brother went to study at the Medical College of Hawaii in Honolulu and graduated with honors.

He emigrated to Japan after the suppression of the Canton uprising, and later moved to the capital of the British Empire. Later, he firmly believed that the main purpose of his life is the revolution in China, he returned to the East.

Some of his rebellion were prepared with foreign assistance: the base of one of them was controlled by the Japanese Taiwan, the other — the French Indochina. In 1905, while in Tokyo, Sun Yat-sen organized union league "Tunmenhoy", popular among the thousands of Chinese students studying in the Japanese capital.

Manchu dynasty came to an end. Sun Yat-sen was elected president of the Republic of China. Soon gave up the post in favor of the imperial army commander Yuan Shikai. In 1913, Sun Yat-sen proclaimed the beginning of the second revolution, but it was a fiasco, and fled to Japan.

In 1922, there is a collision between him and Chen Tszyunminom. In 1923, Sun Yat-sen announced the creation of the Canton Government and to reflect the Japanese aggression and unite China is cooperating with the Communists, with the hope of a military and financial support of the Comintern. Believes the ultimate goal — the creation of a strong power that can take its rightful place among the superpowers.

12 March 1925 Health, Sun Yat-sen did not withstand the load of eternal revolutionary, he died of liver cancer in Beijing.

posthumously by the Chinese government in 1940, he was awarded the title of "Father of the Nation."
