Day of the stock market in Ukraine is celebrated annually 12 June. This date appeared in the official calendar relatively recently — in 2008.
11 March in 2008, Viktor Yushchenko, who was then president of Ukraine signed a decree on the establishment of a new the holiday. The document reads that the new date is introduced to mark the "significant contribution of workers in the stock market to attract investment into the Ukrainian economy and the improvement of the investment climate».
The young are already forming their own holiday traditions.
