Day of Fire Service of the Republic of Kazahstan

17 April in 1918 the young Soviet Republic signed a decree "On the organization of government measures to combat the fire."

This date in some republics of the former Soviet Union decided to celebrate a day of fire service organizations. Kazakhstan has also noted that professional holiday.

22 November in 1996 President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the Law "On Fire". The law regulates the legal relationship of government agencies, individuals and legal entities, irrespective of ownership, in the field of fire safety in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Fire safety is an integral part of state efforts to protect human life and health, ownership of national wealth and the environment.

Fire Department Kazakhstan is divided into public and fire services industry. The State Fire Service is the primary fire service in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main objectives set for the fire service, are the organization of fire prevention, providing oversight of the state of fire safety, fire-fighting.

Fire Service firefighters assist public association. They can participate in activities to prevent and extinguish fires, protection of citizens, environment and facilities management in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and their constituent documents.
