World Day of Aviation and Cosmonautics

12 April the whole world celebrates the Day of Aviation and Space (Space Probe Day). This is a very special day — the day of the triumph of science and all those who are working in the space industry.

April 12, 1961 a citizen of the Soviet Union Lt. on spaceship "VostokĀ» for the first time in the world to accomplish circled Earth orbit, opening the era of manned space flight.
