Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Fascism — a day of remembrance of tens of millions of people who perished as a result of a giant, inhuman experiment. That millions of soldiers whom the Nazi leaders faced each other, but even more — the civilians who were killed by bombs in the concentration camps from disease and hunger.

In 1962, it was decided to count every second Sunday of September, the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Fascism. This day has been defined precisely in September, as this month, we have two associated with the Second World War, the date — the day of its inception and its completion. This is one reason why the establishment of the day of mourning, the September Sunday.

There is no country that would benefit from Nazi rule, there is no nation that would materially or spiritually enriched by their ruling. The most terrible ideology that which makes a person guilty of birth only for the blood that flows in his veins. The ideology of Nazism brought destruction to both those who nurtured it, and those who opposed it. More than half a century ago, a huge Nazi car failed to stop and destroy. The soldiers of different nationalities fought shoulder to shoulder and won.

International Day of Commemoration in each country that took part in World War II, marked not only the abolition of entertainment activities, celebrations falling on that date, but also to visit the monuments, memorials, cemeteries (in many countries in this day taken care of nameless, abandoned, mass graves).
