Day of Remembrance for the victims of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima

6 August — Day of Remembrance of the atomic bombing of the Japanese city of Hiroshima.

6 August 1945 American B-29 bomber dropped on Hiroshima, the first in the history of mankind battle bomb. The blast killed or went missing about 200,000 people were injured and radiation exposure of about 160,000 people. The vast majority of those killed were civilians.
